Gretchen has been helping people attain their health goals through individual sessions since 2016. She also uses the Zonetherapy European Technique that drastically reduces the time needed to achieve freedom from stress. Reflexology
Gretchen is a Washington State and National Board Certified Reflexologist.
She received her Washington State license in 2016 (RF #60727161) and national certification in 2017 (NRCB #01683).
She received her certification in Reflexology Lymph Drainage in March 2021 and is listed on the ReflexologyLymphDrainage.co.uk page as an approved RLD Practitioner in the US. In Europe she would be qualified to work in hospitals and clinics.
She was the President of the Washington State Reflexology Association from January 2018 - March 2021 (Washingtonreflexology.org) and is a current member of the American Reflexology Certification Board (arcb.net).
In April 2022 Gretchen joined the Board Directors of the American Reflexology Certification Board, to test students and review their documentation for national certification.
She is dedicated to supporting Reflexology becoming a well-known and an effectively practiced healing method.
Reiki
Gretchen has been practicing Reiki since 2002. She gives individual Reiki sessions and also combines Reiki with her reflexology sessions which she feels greatly enhances her results.
More About Gretchen
She has been a Washington State resident since 1972. Prior to working in Reflexology, she worked as a Dental Surgical Assistant for 16 years
Prior to working in denistry she was a Marine Biologist for 20 years, working with both the National Marine Fisheries as a Research Biologist and the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) as a Seafood Specialist and Investigator.
She has always loved healing and decided in 2014 to devote herself to helping people relax and heal through using healing touch. While exploring her options she tried a Reflexology session and that was her
"A-ha!' moment. She LOVED how she felt afterward! Later that day while cleaning she found 3 books on Reflexology she didn't remember she had from years ago. That was the "official" sign for her to pursue this field. She signed up immediately at the Seattle Reflexology and Massage Center to obtain her training and Professional Certification.
She has continually expanded her education and knowledge of Reflexology by taking continuing education courses through the Washington State Reflexology Association as well as various local, state and international course offerings. On March 3, 2021 she successfully completed her case studies and received her certification for Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage. She is now listed as one of 32 people in the United States and one of four people here in Washington State with this certification.
